How to set Template Defaults in Keap Max Classic (formerly Infusionsoft by Keap)

You have contacts that you might only have the email address for, and some of the merge fields that you are using in emails and campaigns might not contain any info.

Infusionsoft by Keap will then pull values from Template Defaults.

You decide what these values/text should be.

You can sett this for all fields, but I will in this blog post explain how to set a default value for "First Name".

The same method can be applied for other fields.

Go to:

Marketing -> Settings -> Template Settings -> Template Defaults - Merge Defaults -> Contact

A window will pop up.

Click on "Show Fields" to the right of the "Contact Fields (most common), then fill in your value here. Remember to scroll down to click "Save" before closing the window.
